Recently, my husband and I decided to upgrade our homes main level windows. Our home was built in the late 70’s and the windows were original and in terrible shape. We researched a seemingly endless array of window manufactures and styles because we needed just the right balanced between quality and price. Finally, we decided to use AMSCO brand windows because my husband had experience with the company through his work in construction. AMSCO has plenty of options with five different series’ of windows each with unique features and different pricing options. We decided on AMSCO’s Artisan Series as we felt it struck the perfect balance between aesthetics and pricing.
We purchased AMSCO’s products through a recommended dealer, All Purpose Windows and Doors, and it was clear that communication between these two companies was professional and experienced. The window installation was fairly quick and easy and we quickly realized it was a job we could not have done ourselves as we had originally planned. I was very concerned about my flower beds beneath many window areas but the installers did an amazing job of working around them!
We’ve had our windows for two months now, and the difference is amazing. The new windows make our homes façade look a million times better and their efficiency is truly impressive. They capture the day’s heat and then retain it well through the night. Even as winter approaches, we found ourselves continuing to lower the thermostat. It’s still too early to tell but it’s already obvious that these windows will save us an arm and a leg on our energy bill.
Last but certainly not least, AMSCO’s Artisan Series windows look amazing. It had been years since either of us had window shopped (literally) and honestly, we were at first a bit overwhelmed by all the new color and style options. However, after taking it all in we realized we loved having the options even if it did lead to some heated debate about the window frame color!
Overall we couldn’t be happier with our experience using AMSCO windows. I highly recommend visiting their website to help you get the process started. You can see all their window and door options and find an approved dealer in your area. Good luck with your window search!
