Great Wasatch Front Garden Stores

Here in Utah, residents pride themselves in maintaining masterful gardens. With spring quickly approaching now is the perfect time to start planning for your garden. Luckily, no matter where you live in the valley there’s a great garden store near you and ready to help.
Western Gardens
550 600 E #101, Salt Lake City, UT 84102
4050 W 4100 S #101, West Valley City, UT 84120
This is one of my personal favorite garden stores. It’s centrally located in Salt Lake and serves many local residents. I like this stores because the staff are highly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what they do. They also specialize in plants that are appropriate for Utah’s growing conditions. If you’re wondering if you can grow a certain type of plant or fruit tree in your area there is no better place to come!
Cactus and Tropicals
 2735 S 2000 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84109
12252 Draper Gate Drive (1325 East)
This is my favorite store to browse. These stores are simply beautiful with all of their different flower and succulent arrangements. It’s so beautiful in fact that they are often hosting or providing arrangements for weddings and special events. If you’re looking to brighten up your home,Cactus and Tropicals has a great selection of healthy and hardy indoor plants and very knowledgeable staff to help you find what you’re looking for. The only downside is that this store can be quite expensive, and yet, I usually leave with a cart full of plants…
Paradise Palm Inc.
307 E Broadway, Salt Lake City, UT 84111
This is a really cool store. The environment pulls you in and inspires you right away. The staff are also very helpful and welcoming. Many locals also say this is one of the more affordable garden stores in the area.
Ward and Child Garden Store
678 700 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84102
This is the type of garden store you can get lost in for hours. As soon as you approach the building which is being swallowed up in beautiful vines you feel the pull from the natural world. This store is also filled with awesome garden related trinkets and is beautifully decorated around the holidays, making it a perfect place to find stocking stuffers. If you love all things garden you definitely need to make a trip to Ward and Child’s.
