Winter typically means dreary weather and temperatures that can drop below freezing. And while some of us dread the approach of higher electric bills and frozen eyelids, it doesn’t mean we can’t (and shouldn’t) be comfortable within our own homes.

I did so on the recommendation of a local builder and architect and I’m here to tell you I’m glad I listened to the experts!

First impressions are important, and ASMCO’s installers left me thoroughly impressed. I decided to go with a two-panel sliding door in a beautiful pine finish. ASMCO gives it customers plenty of room for customization with up to four-panel configurations for your home or business with a range of hardware styles and finishes to match your interior and exterior aesthetic.

ASMCO uses SuperCapSR® technology in its Renaissance Series to create a finish that is both elegant and extremely durable. As a new parent and dog owner, having a durable finish is extremely important! The composite finish is available in white, almond or taupe as well as painted colors, and I loved that the interior pine veneer can be custom stained to match your interior décor!

Lower is better! Lower energy bill costs that is! The main reason I decided to replace my fiberglass patio sliding doors was their lack of heat retention. My kitchen leading to the back patio was often the coldest room in my house and even winterizing methods didn’t seem to help. I can say that two months after installing ASMCO’s Renaissance Series sliding patio doors my kitchen is warm and toasty and I had to turn down my heater several degrees!
