The fall brings cozy nights and crisp morning making it one of the best seasons to be outside and enjoy the cheap or almost free activities out there. 2.   Attend a Festival 
There are also festivals for fall (mostly the local and quirky festivals). So, be on the lookout for the most unique festival you can find in your area is, and then go check it out.
3.   DIY Halloween party
Another way to enjoy the season without spending much is having an Halloween party a day before Halloween. Invite your friends and their kids over and have everyone bring in supply (glitter, fabric, glue, a sewing machine, feathers and many other supplies). Print out some costume ideas and work together to create some cool, inexpensive outfits for your children.
4.   Visit a U-Pick Farm
Your fall bucket list is not complete without visiting a U-Pick farm. Fall is usually a harvest season; this means you have many opportunities to pick pumpkins, apples, blackberries, and others. You can make a lasting memory by going with those you love. You can also inspire your kids to h=eat healthy by visiting a U-Pick farm.
5.   Take a Road Trip
One of the most scenic way to enjoy in the stunning fall is to take a road trip. Open up the windows and enjoy the breeze. Its even more better if you can get roofless car and enjoy the moment.
6.   Try a seasonal recipe
You might be wondering if this will cost you more than your budget. But, no its time to bring out your pumpkins! Trying out a seasoning recipe won't cost you a lot. Warm up pumpkins with apple cider donuts or into a pasta dish.
7.   Head to the Beach
Many people believe that summer is the best period to visit the beach. But this is not entirely true as fall is also an excellent time to visit the beach because their won't is crowds and it's even cheaper. Also, fall is the best time to go for treasure hunting as the fall storms will dredge up all the long-buried treasures. So, why not plan a late-fall vacation to the beach?
